Circular

It’s not even Sunday yet?

Wow.

For some reason, it seems that staying up until 7AM to make sure that your roommate wakes up on time causes you to be tired all day long.

(The best part is, I didn’t even make sure he woke up on time. I tried. Really I did. But then I accidentally laid down, and…kuh-ZONK. Straight asleep. Ridiculously deep, too.)

So today the name of the game was lame. I mean sleep. Lots of sleep. Stupid bare necessities. Where’s that big burly bear when I need him to whisk me away to the fun bare necessities?

Wait, those were the bear necessities. Of course. Stupid Disney brainwashing.

Anywho, woke up later than lunch and had lunch at Enzo’s. (Actually, we had lunch at Hermes’, which is owned by Enzo, who happens to be the coolest guy around.)

I put back a plate of fantastic spaghetti al bolognese (NOT bologna spaghetti. When I ordered it, all I could think of was a bowl of spaghetti with a piece of Oscar Mayer slapped right on top of it. Ew.), a piadina con prosciutto e mozzarella, a Coke, a Sprite, a pastry (with chocolate cream instead of cream cream, unfortunately), and a Kinder Hungry Hippo:

Kinder Happy Hippo

which tasted strangely familiar and remained just outside the realm of definition.

So I kinda had a bunch. Go figure. Maybe I’ma hit another growth spurt. Wouldn’t that be awesome? I think it could be pretty nifty.

Post-lunch, it was straight back to sleep. The cycle is a tricky thing to break out of. Wash Sleep, rinse eat, repeat repeat.

Dinner was a casual affair. Not too fantastic pasta (overly veggie, bleh), some sort of suck-the-moisture-out-yo-mouth meat, and an orange. Follow that up with a Dreamsicle afterwards, and all’s well.

Jess, Elizabeth and I scouted a movie out to rent, and ended up with Children of Men. Now there’s a trippy movie. Some of the most fantastic camerawork I’ve ever seen (not that I’m any sort of authority, mind you) and spectacular effects. Jess informed me it was directed by the same person responsible for one of the Harry Potter movies. Or something. Good thing that didn’t blemish his record too much.

Tomorrow is slated to be a work day. Woo hoo, I know.
The good news is, our project is jumping ahead leaps and bounds every time we talk. So that’s great.

In other news, a quick note for all you lurkers out there. Yes you, the person reading this and thinking:

Ohmuhgosh, I think he means me. Does he mean me? He couldn’t possibly. He’s in his own little world, typing away like a madman. Blabbering on about lurking and making up words and whatnot. He’s even overexaggerated this pseudoquote, rambling on to some inevitably lackluster point that I don’t even care about anymore. I’m not even going to read the rest, even if I am chuckling softly to myself. I’m closing this window right now.

Definitely you.

It turns out wordpress makes leaving comments pretty easy. I think you just need a name and an email. Simple enough, right? So say somthin’. Please? Or lurk. Whatever floats that dingy of yours. (It could be a yacht, I suppose. Maybe you rock a submarine. You get the picture, though.)

Later for now,

Charles
