Sounds like I’m partially Jamaican.
De otta day we watched Children of Men, mon.
</nonpoliticallycorrect>
Sunday was another sleepy kind of day.
I must’ve royally jacked up my pitiful sleep schedule somehow, though there’s no legitimate evidence of tampering on my part. In my defense, it was quite cloudy outside. In other words, “One of those days.”
Highlight: We watched Children of Men AGAIN.
Yes, it’s that compelling/interesting/entertaining/awesome.
I’m buying it when we get back to the States. I need to see it on the MEGAMONSTERUBERSCREEN we call our tv back in College Station. There are so many little details to pick up on…and the camerawork is nothing short of masterful.
Jess and I watched a bonus “Making Of…” clip on the DVD that detailed the impressive camera process. You don’t just make 6 minute no-cut scenes inside a car without a little bit of amazing engineering.

That brings us to Monday, a day devoted entirely to studio.
Happy happy, joy joy.
The good news is, my group was totally ready for it. We had our mini-review/check-up with PTRLNG, and he seemed to vibe with the jive we were laying down. Score one us.
Of course, that means there’s still a ton of work to do. Green-walled self-sufficient hydroponic wind and solar powered fancy schmancy artsy fartsy mammoth communities don’t just design themselves.
Also, I’m in charge of the group in charge of the webpage/blog/datadump that is our studio internet presence. So that’s a bit more to do, but I think it’s coming along nicely. Check it out (accessible from ‘Projects’ section of the sidebar, way at the bottom, titled ‘e-(co)-mmunity’) and lemme know what you think, how convoluted/simple the navigation is, how cheesy/profound the splash page is, how quick/god-forsakenly slow the pictures load, etc. etc. etc. Feedback is always fun…!
</selfhype>
I’ve got Psych to watch.
Yes, Psych. (We have our ways…)
Have a great rest of the day/night/evening/morning/afternoon/lifetime!
Charles
