Semester, that is.
So yeah, go figure, with large amounts of projects and studying, blogging falls behind.
Guess it’s time for an uber-recap.
Studio, studio, studio: All sorts of a busy. Lemme say that rendering is a BEAST. I’ve spent weekends just rendering. Pretty ridiculous. The goodish news is, I kinda enjoyed the finished product, even if we had to dumb it down a bit just to have render times shorter than 48 hours.
Video games: Believe it or not, I haven’t really had much time for my default timekill. I suppose a large part of it has to do with having a girlfriend. Not that she doesn’t let me play, don’t get me wrong. But when the choice is presented, the love of my life always wins.
Thanksgiving: I was privileged enough to meet a disproportionately large amount of Jess’ family. I took her back to Amarillo for Thanksgiving, where she hung out with my crazy family for a couple days. Then, we scooted to Austin to catch the family reunion. Obviously there were a lot of people there. (41, if memory serves) I had a great time and am now insisting that everyone I know calls me “New Guy”.
Finals: I do have a few, actually a couple, to deal with. Tomorrow morning at 7:30am Political Science will gear up to smack down. Hopefully there’s been enough preparation to reverse its chokehold and powerslam it to the mat. Next up is History, but that’s not till Wednesday. That shouldn’t be hard, especially since the essay section got cut due to grading time constraints.
Christmas: Is lurking. Apparently it’s December now? Gah. Time and its flightiness. (Yes, that’s an actual, spellcheckable word. [However, "spellcheckable" is not.]) Jess and I aren’t looking forward to a month apart working, but c’est. Besides, we’re shooting for a heck of a long relationship, to which a month seems like a small amount of time, relavitely speaking.
So that’s that. Now, back to the tasks at hand.
Ciao ciao.

P.S. Hey look, a poll!
