You have to understand, there’s no way in the world that I could type everything important that happened over the last two weeks. Life moves too fast for blogs. That’s probably why I quit in the first (and second and third and maybe fourth) place.
That being said, it’s summary time.
Woke up early for a good, relaxed shot at the breakfast buffet. I invented a new drink, which we’re calling a “Charles”. (But not until Saturday, 2-23. That morning, I was just calling it “the best latte ever”.)
Something about the best laid plans…
Wednesday started out nifty, and only became more and more niftier as the day went on. (I realize that’s a terrible sentence, but it’s 1:37pm, 2/25 and I didn’t sleep last night, so there.)
Woke up early this morning in order to grab breakfast and catch the 7:58 train to Rome. I had stayed up semi-late the night before in order to pack and generally feel ready for a full week trip around Italy.
